ABOUT KAY & SISTERS

Epiphany Kay Adams

OWNER / DIRECTOR

There is one unavoidable aspect of life that we will all inevitably experience, and that is loss; it is an inescapable reality for everyone. The search for purpose often leads individuals to profound personal revelations, and Epiphany found just that when she faced the deeply troubling loss of her father. Her compassion for others has consistently been a defining trait she takes great pride in. Additionally, her strong work ethic transcends traditional boundaries to ensure the well-being and comfort of her clients. The question that weighed heavily on her heart during this difficult time was, what is it like on the other side? To soothe that yearning and provide clarity, she channeled her expertise into carefully tailoring the needs of her loved one’s departure with the utmost elegance and unwavering integrity.

Lavareen L. Rankine

Client Relationship Director

My name is Lavareen Rankine. I’m a healthcare professional working in the field For over eight years, I have always had a deep desire to help people, and I want to extend that same generosity through this business venture. Throughout this time, I have had the profound honor of being in the presence of a wide spectrum of individuals, from those who embody health and vitality to those who have unfortunately transitioned from this life. I too have faced the heartache of losing a loved one—my father—and from that deeply impactful experience, I understood that I had to dedicate myself to helping others navigate their own transitional journeys.

Jennifer R. McGowan

Assistant Director

My name is Jennifer McGowan, and I have had the privilege of being an educator for 15 years. I am also the proud mother of Kay & Sisters. Following the heartbreaking loss of their father, my natural instinct as a mother to comfort and ease the heavy burden associated with laying their father to rest became paramount. Witnessing the profound pain they endured not only touched my heart but also served as a powerful inspiration for me to assist others, helping them navigate this difficult season with dignity, integrity, and, above all, sincere compassion.
